What's on my zoa rock?

I got a nice zoa rock, and saw something else on it...looks like some kind of acan to me, not exactly sure. Does anybody know exactly what it might be?

Is there a skeleton under the flesh? From the pic it looks like shrooms, but if there is a skeleton then I don't know.

Yeah up close I think there is some kind of skeleton. They don't really resemble shrooms, because shrooms are much more thinner.
