Coraline growth question..

okay guys quick question, i just got some rock that have coraline growth on them..i dose my tank with calcium..kent liquid calcium..and my tank has alwas been at 400ppm...and i was unable to get growth..do i need to use b-ionic? in order to get that growth?

What is your alkalinity level? pH? Coraline needs more than just calcium to grow.

i never checked dean..i always used super buffer...kept my ph at 8.2..i thought ph and alk..where connected so i never checked it...
