Return pump size

Looking to find the best size pump for a 3/4 inch return hose that goes into a 2 1/2 inch drain line into my sump. The 3/4 inch line runs through a chiller and 2 elbows .i am using a mag 9.5 but the return is slow no power tank is 120 gal how big can i go on a new pump without any problems. Total run about 6
feet

mag 12 would be good or even a mag16

A 2 1/2" drain will be able to handle 3,650 gph, but do you really want to move that much water in a 120??

Wouldn't you need around a 6,000 GPH pump to properly handle a 2.5" drain?

all i can tell you is this you are never going to pump 6k gph thru a 3/4" hose, and if you were able to that tank would not be able to house anything with 6k gph in it.

Sounds like there is a miscommunication here. U sure they are 2 1/2 inch drains? That doesn't sound right. For a 120 they should be 1 1/2 inch drains?
