Booster pump for ro unit

I bought a aquatec boost pump and went on line to company site for installation instructions. After easing the instructions several times, doesn't really explain what i need to do.

The pump came with yellow plastic things on each side where tubing goes. Do i snip the end of these and insert tubing? If i remove the tubing is too small and doesn't fit singly inside boost pump

While im at it. What section does this pump get installed to. The "in" line or "out" line? Thanks in advance

If I remember correctly, those are just caps to prevent debris from getting into the ports during transport. I just removed them and used standard RO tubing.

There should be arrows indicating which port is input and output. Which Aquatec did you get? I have the 8800...

The arrows actually face each other on pump. also, where on ro did you run the tubing into the boost pump? The directions made no sense to me

See the black arrows on the end? Facing into the pump (left arrow) is the input, and facing outwards (right arrow) is the output.

Those instructions can definitely be confusing. The booster pump needs to be installed before your RO/DI input.

As Steve (Widdy) said, you need to install the tubing from your water supply to the 'IN' arrow on the pump. The 'OUT' arrow gets the tubing from the pump to your RO/DI filter inlet.

The yellow plugs are meant to be removed. They are inserted only to protect the pump from any foreign debris getting inside. You need to hold the ring around the plug in, then pull the plug out. Standard John Guest fitting.
