Pls recommend AI resort in the carribean with off beach snorkelling

Please recommend an AI resort in the carribean area that has:
1. Off the beach snorkelling with great fish,corals ( from within the resort beach)
2. Kid friendly
3. Affordable
We are in philadelphia ,PA . Need it with or without air.

Sandals, Turks and Cacios. This resort includes snorkeling two time a day, and there is also 2 reefs within walking distance of the resort. The last time I was at the Allegro Cozumel there wasn't much to see... this was however about 6 years ago.

Sandals is for Adults only. You would need to goto Beaches Resorts (Family resort). The Beaches resort in Turks is one of the top 3 resorts in teh caribbean. But it is NOT cheap!!!!

+1 Grace Bay is one of the best places. I used to live in the Caribbean and I love T&C Grace Bay.

Also, Belize is most probably the most beautiful reef paradise in the Carribean. More expensive tho, but worth it one day when its only you and the miss, no kids.

My brother has been to belize, but there rno offn beach snorkeling resorts,u take aferry to a preserve I heard.

Any good off beach snorkel resort in jamaica,cayman etc?

My ex wife was a travel agent so I've been to many different islands and resorts I have to say the beaches resorts are the most kid friendly resorts out there I was @ the one in Turks. You really are not going to find good snorkeling right off the beach at any resort you go to. But almost every island has trips to take we're they will take you to great spots for snorkeling. Now don't get me wrong you will see some fish and corals but you may have to go out pretty far to find nice reefs with coral.. And a lot of the resorts limit how far you can go out because of all the boats or jet skies that most resorts have...

And I am still very good friends with my ex and can pm you her info and # if you need a agent.. She specializes in the carribean...

Hey, check out Vacations to go.com They have a Resort edition and a cruise edition. They have really affordable prices. I get their regular newsletter to my email. Prices at 50-60%+ off brochure prices. For the cruises, their prices include port fees which is awesome. Not sure about the resorts, but it's great pricing especially if you're looking to book short notice. Good luck.

WE went to Nassau, Bahamas and right off the big dock, there is a little dock in front of Senor Frogs. They take you out to the reef (about 10-15min ride). Pretty cheap too. You can then swim about freely and check out the reef. Definitely kid friendly and within eye shot of Atlantis Resort.

I just got back from Callo Levantado, Samana DR.

They are some huge rocks feets from the beach that gets visited by all sorts of fish.
I saw flounders, box fish, tangs, dwarf angels, damsels, green banded gobies and a bunch of other fish that I do not know the names for. I also saw some sea fans, sponges, maze coral, montiporas, gorgonians. All this was feet from the beach.

Sandals in Jamaica, has snorkling off the shore. And they take you once a day diving included. I think it's only for adults though.

Thanks for the correction thirty5, I did mean Beaches. I know you said kid friendly, but did yoou check out the Island that James has a place on. It's not all inclusive but the money you will save on a AI will cover the cost of the food. I think the name of the island is Utila.

Breezes Runaway Bay Jamaica...maybe something in negril?

Now scratching my head , which is best bang for buck among these in the list for kid friendly and off beach snorkeling LOL !
