Deltec skimmer help

I have a deltec 600mce for some reason the water is pumping out too strong. This is happening even if i try to control the air tube on it. If anyone is familiar with this please help thanku

Try checking the black tubing that connects that air control valve to the pump.
I used to have the same skimmer and dust would begin to clog the tubing over time causing the water exiting the skimmer to flow at a faster rate.

I checked it and cleaned it out. I put a straw on the top and it calmed down. Dont know why but it sucks that i needed to do this.
