Well i finally decided to treat my tank for redbugs. Since my tank is a 75gal with 10gal sump and 5gal fuge, i used 1/4 of the entire pill for large dogs. I decided to stretch out the treatment to 10hrs. I then put new carbon in, plugged the skimmer back in, and did a 15gal water change. I lost my acro crab and a few hermits. I did see one hermit that lived. Also my cleaner shrimp also made it. In a week or so i might do a 2nd and final treatment. Overall i am very satisfied with the results. From now on all new additions will be treated for the bugs and flatworms. Hope this helps others who are thinking about doing the same.

Got the nasty bugs myself. Tried ordering interceptor from Petmeds.com and after 4 days they emailed me that they can`t send it without a script. I need it asap, does anyone know where I can purchase a pill? Thanks.

Paul.

Paul, How big is your tank? I only used a 1/4 of the pill to treat a total volume of maybe 80 gallons or so. I still have the rest of the pill in a ziplock bag. If you can't get it i can give you at least half of it. Let me know.

Hi Pedro, half a pill would be perfect. My system is 65 gal display with a 65 gal expansion tank and a 20 gal sump, figure around 100 gal. I`m in Ozone Park, Queens. I am off the next three days. The bugs have killed one acro and are doing the same to three others. Would love to exterminate them this weekend. Please let me know when it`s best to come by.

Got interceptor from Pedro
. The stuff is incredible, treated the tank for about 8 hours, added carbon, and did a 20 gal water change. Before the treatment I pulled my cleaner shrimp and two hermits, put them in a seperate tank. I see nothing different except that red bugs are no longer bothering/eating my sps. They`re dead :D . Again, thanks Pedro.

Pedro, glad to hear that you finally treated the tank. FWIW I dosed my tank about 5 times the suggested dosage, only once, and all red bugs were gone with no ill effects to the corals.
