Sand memory refresh

How much Live sand for a decent bottom non-DSB for a 120gal? I don't remember how much I have but when I move it I want to start fresh and my fish love the sand aesthetically it looks nice on the bottom.

I wouldn't waste the money on live sand. Go with basic argonite sand. For a 120, I'd say about a pound per gallon for a little over an inch sandbed. If you take the dimensions of your tank(length and width) and multiply them together and then multiply that by .1 for a 2" sandbed or .15 for a 3" sandbed

why not live sand? I purchased this Nature's Ocean Bio-Activ Live Aragonite Reef Sand

All sand will become "live" over time. I just don't think the live is worth all that extra money
