dwarf flame angel

Hello all, i want to add a dwarf flame angel but i am concerned about my yellow tang. My tang decides who lives and who doesn't. Are they different enough or to similiar? If its 50/50, i will not add the angel. Thanks

they are known to nip at corals. its a hit or mis but to me its not worth the risk. but do as you please

i just had to get one out of my reef...he was munching all my coral.

I had a flame angel eat a bunch of acans on me and I had to rip the whole tank apart to get him out!

i actually do see them often in reef tanks, thats why i was considering one.

There are many people that get away with owning one and never have a problem. Its a chance you take with that type of fish. Ive heard if you feed heavy enough it gives you better odds

I have 2 flame angels (8 angels in total) in my tank, they have not touched my acans or corals ... other than the fact that I feed the tank a LOT 2-3 times a day, I think my success with them is more luck, than anything else.
Even if you do get lucky, that can change at any time!

not sure how big your tank is but why not look into the swallowtail angel?
