So, I just noticed that my feather duster seems to have ... split his crown. The pic attached isn't great, but I've always had weird blue color balance issues with my lame camera. So I bleached it of blue. Anyway, the two arrows are pointing to the two exit areas the Crown is sticking out of. The one on top is, obviously, the normal one. That's the way it's been since I got it. But just now I noticed the Crown also sticking out the side of the duster. What's that all about?!?! I have noticed my Yellow Tang occasionally poking the tube, I assumed grabbing some algae off. He does that to the rocks as well. Did he poke a hole through? It actually seems like a weird place in the tube, as the hole faces the rock. And the Tang generally has been "attacking" from the other side. Any ideas what's going on here???
Edit: It just pulled the Crowns into the tube and there is clearly a huge hole in the tube, so I think when the worm tries to pull the Crown out it splits between the two holes. The location of the hole is weird, though. If it was facing away from the tank then I'd blame the Yellow Tang. But it's facing the rock.....
