since tangs are "thin" fish, he can probably stack 'em side by side and get 7 in a 10 gallon......lol.
i think he meant he plans to have 7 fish total in the dt. he will downgrade from a 20 gal. qt to a 10gal. qt..... not all 7 fish in the 10.

Hallelujah!!! Thanks Tom, sheesh seems to be the new trend on this forum- read to bash any point you possibly can, not to see the point in the post. Wasn't like this in 2009 or 2010.

But you are correct sir I can stack 9 by my measurements, or 8 tangs and 1 Wrasse of small to medium thickness LOL!!!

How about instead of wanting to bash someone you actually READ what they wrote?

NO..............I have a 20 gallon as a qt right now because at the time I needed a 20......Got it?....OK next step.......I will be downgrading----THE SIZE OF MY QT TANK FROM 20 TO 10 GALLONS........OK?.........

In my 65G- my new RSM250(my current tank thread) I will have a total of 7 fish in it, all of which 1 at a time WILL BE QT'd IN THAT 10 GALLON.

Capish?

Not bashing. That's why I asked. LOL. The 65g RSM wasn't mentioned. I just saw downgrading to 10g and 7 fish and red flag popped up. Sorry for my ignorance. I do agree with you about buying fish. Personally I would never buy livestock from Petland every one I've ever been in has at least 1 dead fish in every tank. To the OP sorry for your dilemma and good luck with the treatment.

Is all good, just it seems to be a bit of a trend that others have been doing on here lately
