Frag tank fish

Anyone have a suggestion on a good frag tank fish? That will at least serve a purpose

How big of a frag tank? Maybe perhaps a wrasse, clownfish, or chromi...

26x26x17. I have a snowflake clown but Sumtn that will serve a purpose in the tank like a pest eater or Sumtn just in case

pretty sure a six line wrasse is used for a frag tank...not postive

A melanarus wrasse or a xmas wrasse along with a good algae eating fish.
The tank seems small for any tang so look for some blennies. If you can find a very smal tang you can get a kole or yellow but you will have to keep changing them every 3 - 4 months .. i.e once they grow larger..

I had a yellow eyed Kole Tang in mine until he got too big. Small Convict Tang will be next.

Well, in IMHO yellow tang are best algae eaters. Yes, they are aggressive but in a frag tank, does it matter?

Get the fish that controls algae. Yellow tangs are good at it.. including HA.

Yes they do, but they eat different type of algae. What good will a KT be, if it does not eat HA? YT are more prone to eat HA than KT.

kole tangs and tomini tangs are two of my favorites. But yellow tangs are more thorough imo. i agree with duke with the six line.
