Problem with calcium

For awhile now i was using a salifert calcium test kit and it was always putting me in the range of 430/440 calcium i recently switched over to red sea test kits and its been telling me my calcium has been slowly dropping, from 420 to 410 now to 400 over the past 3 days and i have actually been uping my daily dosage to 40 ml which i am at now. does this seem right?

I would trust the salifert test over the red sea test.

i use the red sea for mag and alk is that not reliable eithier? i get consistent readings with those at least.

If you are getting consistent results, you should be good to go. If you have any doubts, you should test them against a buddies test kits. I would do that before purchasing another one.
The reason I would trust salifert is because of all the good reveiews it gets and alot of long time reefers use it. They are definitely pricey but its worth it for the accuarcy

yea i would of bought another salifert but none was in stock. i am afraid to continue to dose 40 ml if my calcium isnt really low at all like the test kit says.
