hi guys i need your help on recommending a heater for me.i'm tired of trowing away my money on garbage.for the past 10 years i am lucky to get more than a year out of a heater.i use my heaters with a contoller but cannot find a reliable heater that last.i have used all titanium ones--WON BROS.--FINNEX---JALLI---JEHMCO(NOT SURE WHAT BRAND THEY SELL UNDER THEIR NAME) EVERYTHING JUST SEEMS TO LAST A FEW MONTHS AND THEN BURNS OUT. let me know what you guys recommend.
also these guys always give me new heaters under warranty and then it never fails a few months and thoses burn out.

Thats weird! I always used cheap, glass heaters and never had a problem. I would think the more expensive titanium heaters would work better. They definitely shouldn't be burning out in a couple of months. Maybe of has something to do with the controller?

it's not the controller---won brothers had contollers on their heaters and the tubes burnt out.same with finnex and jalli---always tubes burning out. now with jehmco i have a independent contoller that works great but tubes burnt out

as far as electrical issue---house is only about 10 years old and the tanks are each on their on breaker-20amp---i don't think it's electrical just for some reason these companies making titanium heaters are terrible.i have not tried any glass heaters yet so hopefully all the reviews on the jagers are correct.as far as jbj i have not tried them yet--i'll give the jagers a shot

jagers seem to have gotten great reviews online and you guys think the same so i actually ordered 4 of them today---

their adjustable calibration feature is great, i was able to fine tune it to my controller temp. probe.
always get extra for spare. calibrate all of them at the same time that way you can just swap them out one at at time for the vinegar bath....assuming you're using multiple heaters method of back up.

I'm running a via aqua titanium on mine and no problems... It has its own controller and I have it hooked up on my RKL and that is my backup incase it ends up ever going bad.... the RKL will shut off the heater so it does not overheat the tank.
