Can you drill starfire glass?

I have a friend that has a 40b with 4 sided starfire glass. I was wondering if it can be drilled with a standard diamond bit?

As long as glass is not tempered it can be drilled. That's what I've always been told

Thats what I thought. The Guy it got it from worked in a fish store in ronkonkama and said it couldn't be drilled. I wanna try it but don't wanna break the tank. I've drilled many regular glass tanks bit haven't done a starfire yet.

I'm not sure bit I can ask him tomorrow, if he even knows lol. I'm pretty sure it was your tank thread that made me even ask this question. He has had this tank for well over a year now and I just went along with what he was told
Then I read your entire tank thread one night and read about you drilling the tanks. I was kinda drunk at the time and didn't remember where I seen it but told him about it. Thanks for the reply
