I wanted grey pvc for my seaswirl but the only place i see it is at homedepot. its the pvc electrician use to run cable, can i use this pvc in the tank> i just need to use there fittings not the pipe itself. i would like a definate yes or no please dont guess :)

What are you using it for, drain or return? The difference between conduit and regular pvc is that conduit is not tested and approved for pressure. There is definitely a chance of leaks when using it. If you were only using it on a drain (non-pressurized) you may be able to get away with it, but I personally wouldn't attempt it. If you really want grey fittings and pipe you can use either SCH 80 pipe or krylon fusion.

Didn't someone say they had that PVC piece at nerac from a broken one?
If not ask Kathy if she found it if white really bother you, I think algea will cover it in no time

nah i dont want the white.its for the nozzle for the sea swirl.i just wanted to make sure that its cheically safe not pressure safe. yeah ed said he had extra pieces but i cant drive that far bro. maybe if he comes out to lira but i want to get it going this weekend
