Brs reactor...gasket question

I've been using a used brs dual reactor for a year....it doesn't leak only if tightened with wrench very hard.

If hand tightened it leaks.gasket looks ok.

How often do I change its gasket? Can I get it in lfs,hd etc?

I would say its worth a try to change them. I would contact brs im sure they can send you some new gaskets for it.

Wonder if a water filter gasket of same size will work....bought from hd or lowes.?

probably would as long as its a 4" diameter gasket for a similar type of cartidge water filter.. theyre like $2.. go for it..

As long as they are the same size they should be fine.
