Salt levels effect on CAL and ALK

So for a long time i was keeping my reef at 1021 (had no idea) and had my dosing dialed in to 20 ml a day. i started upping my salt to 1025 and i am noticing my levels are rising. do i have to dial in my dosing again because at the higher salinity my levels will be differant?

Yes you do. The higher the salinity, the higher the concentration of everything. Try dialing it back to 15ml and see where that gets you.

do you think it will rise by a lot pratt? i have the salinity at 1022 right now i am going to do another 5 gallon water change tomorrow to get it to 1024. i didn't dose alk today and the day before when i did my 15 gallon water change and it dropped to 8.1 from 8.7 so i am going to dose again tomorrow before the water change i just don't want the swing to be to much.
