Time to change bulbs, I've been running my XM 10k SE bulbs for about 15 months now and was wondering if any MR members have tried the SE Reeflux bulbs by Coralvue?
Prior to this tank, I had tried the regular Coralvue 10Ks and hated them. They were more of a 12 to 14k look but very dim.
Was looking for feedback on 250w Reeflux SE 10ks & 12ks. I run Ice Caps which keeps my XMs on the crisp white side vs some yellowing if ran with HQI magnetic ballast.
Reason why I ask about the Reeflux is because I bought some corals from a local reefer a couple of months ago and he was running a bluer bulb and the corals were a deep blue. After getting them into my tank, they never stayed blue and I'm wondering if it's the bulb effect.
