I thinking of changing my bulbs ,but dont know which way to go ,
Im not changing to 250w so thats out .

I looking for the same color that reeflux has ,but better par,
what doyou guys think of ushio

I really dont want to go retro ,and make a new canopy :biggrinpa

or rewire my ballast and fixture ,they are complete prewired set :division:

I have been running Ushio 175w 10K's for years after trying almost everything out there (at least what was available at the time). I have never thought that they were to yellow, but rather have always thought they where a nice crisp white. That being said, I do supplment with actinics and I am using blueline e-ballasts.

I have posted this before, and perhaps you have already been there, but http://www.reeflightinginfo.arvixe.com/ is a great resource. YOu can pick out your ballast and see how different bulbs compare. Sanjay gives you a spectural diagram and par readings.
