Anyone using this product? I just started using it and wanted to see if anyone had any input for me. I think it is similar to carbon/vodka dosing..Thanks any info would be great..

I heard ok things about the product but if I was to go the carbon dosing route I would probably just use vodka and/or vinegar. Are you having nutrient problems currently?

ok now explain what you guys have written? have you tried it or going by what noobies have written about it? i tried it and loved it. it dropped my nitrates BIG time in 2 weeks. its pretty much the same thing as vodka/vinegar dosing but alot safer. plus the is no concern on a algae bloom. if you go by the directions you are good to go. i underdosed and still worked wonders. i would use it in conjunction with a bacteria source like zeobak. all i know is i had less brown film on my glass,alot less cyano and my corals polyps are extended like crazy. i did lose some color because i think i dropped the nitrates and po4 drop to quickly but in the past few days the color is coming back

but the white algae bloom is also well documented in vodka dosing. the bottle i bought cost 13 dollars for a 16.9 oz bottle.

Even with use of MB7? I dot carbon dose so you know better than me, never had a need

im just saying i loved it when i used it. i never tried vodka dosing but i did use this. i only dosed for like 3 or 4 weeks and before that never carbon dosed..

I was just considering it as a replacement for GFO, just seems easier to plug bottle in to my doser then worry about changing out my GFO every month

6 years in this hobby I still have not found the magic bottle I all ways end up going back to the old school way
