yes its a good thing but if i were you i would not keep no more then 2 them in the tank.

Sometimes they split when stressed.. Did you recently get it?

No I've had it for 4 months.
It's always stayed in 1 place. I feed it once a weeks and it's always wide open
It looks healthy

no, but may start 'roaming' around looking for better conditions...I've heard some people say they will sometimes split from overfeeding

when i started feeding mine silver sides, it split immediately and took a month for both of them to heal. They didn't stop roaming for weeks so i had to trade them here. I wish i never started to feed because it was big and in a great view and now its gone...
