PC Actinic broke

Anyone every have a pc bulb just break on you while it has been in your hood for a while. I've been running pc actinics for about 4 years and never had a problem with a bulb before. One of my actinics was not on and when I checked it out the end of the bulb where the 2 tubes are connected was cracked. I replaced my actinics about 3 months ago and this just happened to one of them.

That's the weakest point of a PC bulb. Check your bulb clips, they might be too tight or it might be just bad quality control on that one particuliar bulb.

I told you that you shouldn't be using your bulbs like that. I don't care if you like the glow.

Kind of strange to break when it was already in teh clip. I had one break at that point, but only when I was taking the bulb out.
