Just got this bad boy from Northeast Aquatics. Those guys always hook me up with the hard to find stuff.

Hey jcurry, at least give us the name of the trigger. Not all of us can recognize species on sight. It does look lovely though. I like the yellow highlights on the fin egdes.

It's a blue jaw trigger (not sure it's technical name) - one of the other triggers that are "reef-safe"

Nice addition JC - one of my choices for my new 180 - this or the cross-hatch

hmm fish expo and fishtown has couple of these guys.

That the male blue jaw or throat trigger. Very nice and colorful fish. It cost about a fraction of what a cross-hatch trigger does though and a little more hardy than the cross-hatch.

I've heard that they are not totally reef safe that they do eat certain corals, small fish and crustaceans. i could be wrong though not sure, but I was interiested in one a while ago and did a searchon RC and there where lots of info on them that led me to believe that they will eat things like the above mentioned.
