Okay guys so i know I'm a long way away from my bday (november just in case you wanna send gifts :smile::smile::smile:) but I'm looking to get away from my Hamilton Cebu MH/T5 fixture and upgrade to a led system butr not sure whats good whats bad so here is what i was looking at They are call maxspect i was thinking a three module unit to start on my 120 gal tank so what do you guys think has anyone used these before and is there one out there better other than the radion can't afford them right now let me know guys ps the tank is 60" long

So you have a 60"/5ft tank... which means you will probably need at the minimum a 4 unit maxspect. which will probably run you $2k.

it's all preference now...
if you like more white... just get the ai sols... if you like more blue.. ai sol blue.
you can purchase all separately through one of our many fine vendors.

The AI Sols are the best value in my opinion, and our best selling LED. I would suggest the Blues which arent too blue but provide nice rich, bright light. There are more expensive LEDs but with the controller, and mounting rails, AIs are the way to go.

so from the videos that i have seen it seems to me like all of the sol's do both blue and white so how do i know which one get

The Sol white units have blue LEDs for the purpose of color correcting the output to something that is more acceptible to reef keepers. The Sol blues provide light that appears to the eye more like halide + actinic. Hope that makes sense.

okay so i have now narrowed my selection to ai super blue or orphek nilius anyone ever use those before i wanna start building my light in june i figure i buy one at a time i should have them all by sept i think three would be good for my tank to start
