I think it dying but I recently added a new leather that started shedding everything else is good in the tank

Help me out I had it high in the tank and down where it is now no change

Is that the one u got from me? Leathers don't need to be that high. It will close up until it is happy. How is your water?

That is the first one i got from you I had it on the bottom the whole time then after I added the other leather this is what happened I put it up in the tank and it folded over so I put it back on the sand and nothing I noticed the other leather is shedding so that can be it just not sure they aren't close to each other

My water is fine I'm everything else in the tank is good

That leather did that in my tank as well. Give it some time and it will open right up. And then one day you will come home and it will be closed up again.

That's good to know I thought it was dead or on its way out

Leather's get a wax'e film over them when they are stressed put it low in the tank and put a power head on it for a day or so.... this has worked for me in the past....
