anyone know if there is a local (Queens/Lonf Island) source for plastic water tanks?
Looking for something like this
http://www.tank-depot.com/productdetails.aspx?part=TRANS25

Was going to put two next to each other on a stand and have RODI water with float valve on one and saltwater in the other.
Know most people use brute containers but I need something I can keep off the floor and with a spigot.

thanks

order a couple of 25 gallon tanks from tank depot....shipping was a pita but think they will work out well. Building stand for them out of some steel I had laying around.
I'll post a few pics over weekend when I'm done with it.

I'm using a 55g 'food grade' barrel (actually holds 60g)...added bulkhead and clear PVC, can easily tell how much water at all times...works great

Still a work in progress but this is what I have some far.
Tank are 25 gallons each.
Bottom tank connects to RO/DI unit (used 20ft. if ice machine tubing) and has a auto shut off float valve in it.
Need to work out some type of pump to get water up to the top tank for mixing.
Stand is made from old metal shelf brackets.
As a bonus my wife like the idea as she can easily get ro water for her steam iron and kids humidifier.

What do you guys think?

copper on the input side is fine...all the water pipes in your house are copper.
Believe the RO/DI unit will filter out all the copper particles, so what you don't want is anything metal for your water to run through after it comes out of the RO/DI as that could poison your tank.
