Best T-5 Combo

Hey All,

Gonna be running 6 39watters over my 40 breeder. What's the best color combo from experience? I'll be replacing all the bulbs in a couple months and want to know what's the best combo for growth and color.

i have a 6 bulb sun power and am using the following combo.

Front:
ATI Blue+
ATI Purple+
ATI Blue+
Geismann AquaBlue+
ATI Blue+
ATI Blue+

I like the combo. I would say that the look is more 14k-15K.

it matters how you arrange them I forgot what my bulb arrangement is but I can check when I get home. the way mine are arrange its very light tint of blue it looks very natural you can see pics of my tank in my signature to get an idea

I think it's a great bulb but way to white yellow for me I think if you had an 8 or 10 bulb fixture it would work

3 Geissman Midday 6000k
1 Korallen Zucht Fiji Purple
1 Korallen Zucht Coral Light New Generation
2 Geissman Aquablue +
1 ATI Aquablue+
1 Geissman Pure Actinic

What combo would you guys go with? And in what order would you put them from front to back? First and last bulb come on first. 4 center bulbs come on after.

I think I have the same as jarrett..as long as you have a few blues and at least 1 purple your tank will pop nicely. I like that combo better than leds it doesn't over saturate with blue and looks a lot more natural.

With most of those bulbs you'll end up with a really white look.
Are those aqua blue specials or blue+'s?
