Every photo of milli they have hair like tenacles blowing in the flow. My milli does not have any tenacles extending but it is growing and encrusting.

Is there diffrent types of milli is there somthing wrong with it just dont know? I tryed several spots in the tank, I figure if it encrusting and growing it should be ok??

thanks for you input!!

Polyp extension can vary with any coral...especially with acros. In general, the more polyp extension (in SPS) the better, but there are many variables that can effect polyp extension such as water quality, flow, lighting, infections, etc. If the coral is encrusting an growing, I wouldn't worry about it much. Keep observing it, but try to avoid freaking out and moving it around; as it is probably stressed as it is and frequently moving corals around is never a good thing. Btw, try to post pics...I cannot emphasize enough how helpful good pictures can be with answering threads like this.

Hahaha I was really hoping this would be the problem....you don't have any Mille dude. It's some kinda acro, but anyway the SPS in that pic doesnt look too hot...the bottoms are losing tissue and bleaching somewhat..(STN) get your nitrate and phosphate down.
