Could it be possible i have dwarf hippo tang?

I purchased a baby hippo tang 2 years ago and he has grown to the size of a half dollar and isnt showing any change in growth could it be that he is a dwarf

Tank size isn't going to matter, the diet is the important thing. If the tang isn't being feed correctly thing it's not going to grow and could probably die from malnutrition.

Due to the fact that it is not healthy for them as you are providing a less than acceptable living environment. Our goal as fish keepers is to care for our fish so that they thrive, not mearly survive.

Also - though the full size of the fish's body may not ultimately suffer, the internal organs DO - some never grow to full size and that is a proven fact ( I cannot quote where I got that info from originally as it was so long ago, but I do know it was from an extremely reliable source)

Yes, usually one of them at least, which tends to shorten their lives by bringing on resulting health issues.
