Question about sump

What would cause a little shock when you touch the sump by the top?

can be just salt getting into your fingers and feeling like a shock. turn off everything in your tank from power supply and see if its still happening.

What's up bro? You could have stray voltage..do you have a glass heater? If so see if it's cracked. See if there is any other wires touching it that could be punctured/corroded I'm sure you know salt is a powerful corrosive.

Are you a working man with cuts on your hand? You could have a little cut somewere on your hand or fingers and when you stick your hand in the tank it can feel like a shock....

I'm feeling the shock on the rim of the tank, and I have no cuts on my hands

Everything is pretty good, I hope all is well with you guys too. A grounding probe is to get rid of stray voltage. Check your heater and stuff like I said and see what happens.
