Does anybody follow Mr Saltwater Tank?

I've been tempted to buy his algae guide because of the things he says about phosphates kits only giving you a hint of whats really happening. But other than that I dont think much of his quick tips

Agree. Some of what he says seems like good advice...but then I feel like I'm being sold something. I enjoyed his intro to Neptune Apex video...then he started talking about "buy this and you get to hear everything!" Mutter.

He pretty much sold me on Dr. Tim's One and Only to insta cycle a tank. I tried it on my QT tank. I'm still waiting for the cycle to finish...that was 10 days ago. Ammonia just 0-ed...nitrites off the meter still.

Maybe I just got a bad bottle or did something wrong (don't ask me what) but yeah...now I'm suspicious. I'll be table shrimp-cylcing my next tank.
