Not only is it the same guy selling both but he sells them on ebay, under 2 different user id, for less than what listed on his web site. Go figure that one out. :scratchch

The Nautilis II does not include the dual tubing which you buy for $15. It is also a reconditoned unit that's why it cost so much less. He also said that it is specially modify for aquarium use. Yea right!
I was looking into getting it awile back and that's what the guy said a while ago when I've finally got him to E-mail me back.

You can get the nautilis with the single or two channel if you want now for no extra charge, but he hasn't updated the website yet. I think I paid $10 more for the battery backup but the sentry has that light sensing thing.

These are kangaroo pumps but he disables the alarm for them.

Yes. They are modded.
I have done the mods myself, to a Kangaroo unit.

1) No Set Error bypass: allows you to use different types of tubing.
2) No Flow Error Bypass: Disables the flow sensor that makes the unit think no flow is going through the tubing.
3) Alarm disable

It allows you to only dose when the lights are off. Probably a photodiode in there.
