OK im losing the battle with the in tank treatment. 3 acros today look like they are done so i need to rip my tank apart. When removing the acros does every piece of SPS have to come out of the tank like Bnests and montis or just acropora SPS. If i cant beat this i may just end the hobby. I cant afford to stock my tank again and LPS and Softies bore me and all SPS does is give me stress. Im going to give this QT a try for 6 to 8 weeks and see what happens. Now i have to look for a 20 gallon for cheap and maybe a mag 5 . This is just killing me and i have no idea how im doing this with the bad back

Your best bet is to frag small frags of the sps you have now, let some on you trust hold them and then treat the tank. Also if you can dip the sps then dip.

Also load the tank up on wrasses, and blast with ro water. > the only problem with that is it does not kill the eggs.

IF YOU NEED HELP LET ME KNOW>

Duke, don't go ripping anything out or do anything at all. I would also stop basting the coral . That is only added stress IMO. If anything up the flow in the tank on the mp's and just maintain for a while. Let the zeo product have a chance to build up in the coral. I know how stressful that ish can be. Don't go nuts bro. I think the corals are looking stressed because u are!

nah bro yellow mille is dead i have a purple acro that turbo gave me that is almost dead. big green acro colony is getting skin eaten everyday im watching it disinegrate and another acro is almost gone. this has been in the last 48 hours. im guessing some eggs hatched and are going to town. dont think i can wait 2 1/2 more months for the flatstop to work everything will be dead by then. not having much faith in it after reading some threads on other forums just now. one guy was 3 months in and he has more AEFW then before

Only acro's need to be removed, birdsnest are not acros so they won't get affected by aefw. Monti's are also not acro's so they also won't be affected by aefw. aefw only eats acro's. SPS which are not acroporas will not be eaten by acro eating flatworms

Millepora is a acropora. they will kill them as well. i just didnt know if after they kill off acros if they might live off the other different types of SPS. i dont know im thinking real hard of just throwing in the towel and maybe coming back after im better. maybe take a year and a half off. just to much for me right now.
