ASM G1 skimmer question

What is the best level to keep the water in the skimmer ?

How do you like your ASM? I am in the market for a new skimmer and was considering the G3.

i love my g3 kicks up really dark green stuff but it needs to have constant water levels. as do most in sump skimmers...

The only concern I have heard people have with them, is the quality of their construction.. what do you think?

I was in a store that stocked them, and was using them on their display tanks. Unfortunatly, you really cant get a feel for the construction, without..well....feeling them.

construction isnt bad at all... there are worse companys out there... there seals leak every once in a while depending on if u have it sealed correctly... in all seriousness for the amount of money i spent on it, it has done my tank wonders...
