Help securing mp40 to tank edges?

I have a m p 40. how can I secure it to glass by sticking its wire to top rim of dt?

so that if the magnet doesn't work it won't fall/break

It should have come with a plastic "hook" with double sided tape to attach the wire to.

You can get them at home depot or lowes. They are plastic squares with sticky tape and then secure the wire with tie straps on the square.

lowes carries these and they work great, they are a tad big but for the price you cant go wrong

I have had these still fall off including a mp60 fall off and shatter. I now put one of the above brackets under the pump as well forming a wedge. Works like a charm.

I think iwill buy 8 of them, and stick them across the rim.....it can't look ugly since its black.

so if 1 fails t hen rest of them really hold strong ... the pump won't fall and break

I use the square it came with and some crazy glue to make sure it's super secure to my canopy. Saved me a few Times already. Did not save the plate coral growing under the falling wet side though. Lol
