Nope. because the mirror is on the back of the glass, the light has to pass through the glass twice before it shines down into your tank. So it's like you have 2 pieces of glass filtering out your light intensity.
Plus, with a halide, the glass would get pretty hot. One splash of tank water and it could shatter.
Flat white paint is actually better than glass mirror.
Polished spectral aluminium is best.
