I been reading up on this lately ,Has anyone been able to get these snails to breed in your aquarium ?
I been seeing egg's on my glass and been wondering if i could get some to hatch in my aquarium,I wonder if I isolate them with one of those suction cup in the tank Isolation bins to keep then from being eaten would they hatch. I read way's of how to in 1 gallon tanks , but I wonder if I just leave be would I get a few to hatch.. Any suggestion?

If you have a refugium, that would be the best place to try it w/o intervening.

Yeah a refuge would be a good idea, but if I was to move them I would just move them to there own 1 gallon tank. Have you successfully bread them in your fuge?

I threw in some Astrea snails into the fuge and then noticed baby ones 3 weeks or so later. Not sure if they are surviving or if they got eaten since I haven't seen any more recently.

Before that they were in the DT and I never saw any baby snails until I put 3-4 in there.

I never tried with nerites, I only have one large and some very small pencil tip sized that were hitchhikers on some macros recently. If their eggs don't need fertilization I'll throw it in there and see.
