Thinking of adding a little more height to the right side (technically, the left one third of the right side...if that makes any sense). I'm only talking about going a few inches higher than the other bommie as I'm a fan of the low profile look overall. What say you? Questions and comments welcomed, of course.

To truly appreciate your aquascape as i do, you need a little imagination. I would leave it as is if you plan to keep SPS. A few stags in the back row would fill in the vertical space nicely. It's important to remember that an aquascape is not just rocks, but also the coral we glue on the rocks as well. So when designing the rock work you should incorporate negative space creatively for future coral.

I believe Michael said that this new tank would be LPS...I think just a little more rock would do it.
Is your XXL elegance coral still around, in your prop system?

These days, it pretty much IS the prop system. I actually tried placing it in the DT here but there was much too much flow so I had to send it back 'home'. The Duncan (that softball sized piece towards the back in the middle) seems to love it though. Go figure.

And by the way, while I do plan to add more LPS than I had, I'm still going to be SPS dominant. Too much invested in light and flow. :wink1:

I would add more rockwork because without it your limiting the number of corals you can keep...unless you are going for the wide open look which is great for a tank with alot of fish...

rbtw04...I actually saw pictures of a reefers tank from Australia in which he created an elevated mountain of rockwork protruding out of the center of the tank with a waterfall....very cool.
