Frag Tank - fish or no fish

Subject says it all...setting up a 20" basic glass tank to be used as a frag tank.

A fish or two? If so... suggestions as to species? Or fish-less?

HOB powerfilter, heater, couple hunks of rock, bare bottom, probably an additional PH for more flow for SPS frags and a custom LED fixture I haven't build yet.

It's living in my kitchen, on a stand in a corner, and is sorta on display, so I kinda dig the idea of having a fish in there to keep things interesting...

i would think something to keep ur hair algae in check maybe a lawnmower blenny

I'd vote on fish-less.
Considering our aim here in keeping fish/corals is to provide the best environment for them to thrive, not just to survive.
Living in a frag tank doesn't sound much like an interesting life for a fish...imo

a 20" basic glass tank

..and likely a bunch of egg crate..

I read that as a LOT of flow, plastic, glass and good lighting for growing corals.

We add more to a FOWLR tank to make a fish feel 'at home'.

He asked for opinions, so i gave mine

...and a 20" tank isn't suitable for many types of fish.

probably better for the fish than the LFS or Petco lol i gave my opinion as well was just curious to know y it was a bad idea.

well if you have the option to tie the tank into your main system then all you would need is a small CUC
