Pumps and wattage

Just curious in knowing what the difference would be in a pump if the wattage was different. Looking at getting a atman 1100 skimmer pump. There are two of these pumps avaiable with different wattage. Same model. Ones 8w and the other 28w. What would be the differene? Would one be more powerful?

to be honest i would stay away from atman i have a bubble magus skimmer that has an atman pump its a little over a year old and i have went thru 3 of these pumps

i havent changed it out with a new pump yet i just found out that the sicce makes one that will fit i have a spare when that one goes in the skimmer i will order the sicce
