Hey Folks;
I need a great quality external return pump that pushes at least 1100 GPH with 1" input and 1" output. It is for my mixed reef 120 gallon tank. I need one that is quiet and creates little heat, like my current pump. I currently have a Pan World 100PX-X, and it works beautifully. My problem is that this is my brand new spare. My original pump was only 3 months old before it crapped out. Pan World is no longer in business. No phone number, no email, nothing! I was told that Blue Line Aquatics bought them. I've reached them, and they are completely useless. I asked them if they wou:grumpy:ld repair my pump at MY expense? They answered 2 emails back asking me about the symptoms of the pump. I answered back simply, "it makes noise, but does not move water." No answer. Tried emailing two more times, still no answer. USELESS! :grumpy:
Any suggestions on a great pump will be greatly appreciated.http://www.manhattanreefs.com/forum/images/smilies/grumpy.gif

It is said that the Japanese version of the Iwaki pumps run more quietly than the American version due to the parts the pump is made from.
I have run Iwaki's for years on my 120 and am quite happy with the performace.

Other good ones..Blueline and the Reeflo darts
