I was in DeathCo Union square yesterday and I happened to see something interesting. They have two large black long spine urchins with bright orange siphons on top.
One urchin was spitting pale orange eggs from this siphon, about 100. I watched in amazement for 10 minutes wishing I had a camera. When i realized I had one in my pocket it was too late, I took a few pix afterwards until a salesperson told me "you are not allowed to take pictures in stores". Anyway, could these be viable eggs! has anyone seen this before.
