Do you need to dip zoa or palys?

Should I be dipping new zoa's or palys before putting them in my tank or is that just for hard corals and not any of the softies?

I do it for all corals and rocks. I use revive.
I leave corals in dip for 3-5 minutes, then shake coral inside to "knock" off any hitchhiker.

i think they both work equally well but i do prfer the dropper on the pro. easier to count drops and less messy compared to using the cap to measure.

I dip and scrub em with a toothbrush also to remove any eggs some I have dipped in fresh water also Zoa are tuff

Should I be dipping if I am transfer from one of my own tanks to another? no known issues in my orignal tank and they are all going into new tank

I would say not, unless you want to just make totally sure that you didn't have any lurkers that hadn't caused noticeable issues yet and wanted to be doubly sure. But I wouldn't worry about it when transfering between your own tanks.

Melafix like faviafreak suggested for Lps and zoas. For Sps I use bayer... I thought about using it on zoas for a way shorter dip time.
