Posting pics???

I know this is an old and already discussed topic, but I still have trouble. What is the best way to add a picture when I reply to something in the forums. Thanks for the help!

you goto Photobucket, create an account. then upload the pics that you want. Then when you click on an image it gives you the codes to put into the site here.

I use the IMAGE Tag Ones

You just copy that code and put it into the post here.

So, if your pictures are in photo bucket. Are you still restricted to the amount of megapixels that can be posted on Manhattan Reefs?

no... but you may want to keep the images to a minimal size so that it can be viewed properly.

Check my tank thread all the pics are on photo bucket. Right from camera I didn't edit them for size

Those are a little too large.

IIRC the size you want to aim for is approximately 600 x 480 - that posts a nice size pic without having to scroll to see it.

..and definitely use Photobucket to upload/store your pics!
