Can you possibly post a pic of the fish?

It would be odd to have any sort of fungal issue in a SW tank as adding salt to a tank is typically the cure for a fungal infection in FW tanks :(

btw - Pimafix is more of an anti-fungal than Melafix

ADDED... just saw the pic of the fish on your other thread on the same topic... do you have any corals that sting in the tank..like an anemone? It doesn't look like fungus in that pic...imo. If he is eating fine, I'd leave him alone and he should heal up fine in time. Just stay on top of your water parameters.

I've used both Pimafix and Melafix on my reef a few years ago. My Hippo had clouded eye and pop eye and my Yellow Tang had fungus on his tail fin. They both recovered withing about 2 days. One thing, you have to turn off your skimmer cause the above makes it overflow like crazy and then after do a water change. I had to lower my skimmer for a few days after the water change and raised it little by little until the overflowing/micro bubbles stopped. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice Kathy , I do have a hammer , a torch and 3 rbtas and he's a very active fella so maybe he did get his chops stung lol I didn't think of that , but I just wanted to be sure cause I am very fond of his cartoonish nature and he is eating very well so maybe I will give it a few more days , thanks again
