Actually most "thanks" and blame should go to the city and the builders that buy 2 one or two family homes and construct a 20 unit apartment building in their place and expect the wiring from the 2 houses to support the load of all those units and their a/c units.

The city only cares about the money they get for the permits and taxes from the properties so they let them get away with these things.

I agree, the infrastructure (parking, schools, garbage, etc.) cannot handle all these people, which is one of the reasons I left Queens.

I think everyone should have some back up. to think in 2012 that power outages would happen so much!!! with the price they charge for power they should keep up their out side plant!!

Yea i was sayin that to my wife n her family when they where over sitting in the dark yesterday thats when i got up went to home depot n bought one for my tank , refig and maybe my led tv n ps3
