Depending on the type of Frogspawn it could either be a branching, where you would have multi-heads, or a wall type, where you have one big head. You should be able to see what type it is when it closes up.

Out side of having 3 seperate pieces if the condition in the tank are right it should grow about the same as if it was together. All the heads would start to split and grow smaller ones underneath the heads.

My frogspawn likes medium flow. I feed it by turning off the powerheads and turky basting a mixture of mysis, Marine Snow, Cyclo-peeze, and Invertebrate Smorgsmabord into its mouths

i got two head of branching frogspawn 8 months ago and now I am up to 8!!! These guys grow fast!

I can see dozens of little baby heads starting to grow - you can tell in the morning before the lights are on and the frogspawn is deflated - just count the heads!

I don't really spot feed mine- they are pretty much going to get a lot of food when I feed the tank normally since they are spead out...

Mine are in medium/lower light (PC light) and in moderate flow.

Apparently I've read that frogspawn are good indicators of overall tank health- since they are usually more sensitive to changes than other LPS...

That's a lot of feeding. Worse than feeding my sun polyps or the scallops!!!!!

My frogspawn never need to target feed yet it's growing like crazy except I don't dose calclium and thus they don't extend the skeleton much. But the flesh is like 6 times bigger than when I first get it 3 months ago

kwanlp26, welcome to MR. You've found a really helpful group of reefers to lay your Q's on. Feel free to join in on our discussions and ask questions. Hopefully before you make your purchases. You'll be able to save some money doing it that way.

Frogspawn, Hammers, Torches are all in the same family, Euphyllia. Their care requirements are all similar. They should do fine in low-moderate flow and moderate light. Some people feed them, but they should be able to get enough nutrition from the food you would just put into your water column for your fish and inverts. Small particle size, like frozen cyclopeeze and DT's Oyster Eggs are great additions as well.

I've never direct fed my Frogspawn, Torch or Hammer and they grow like weeds.

Good luck, and once again, welcome to MR.
