Ok guys I have a question about what one to buy. I want to buy a apex Neptune. I would like to know what setup is best for me I don't wanna pay for something I'm not going to use. I have a spare computer if need by I'd like to be able to monitor everything on the tank from my phone. Maybe later on get into the power strips turning stuff on and off. I don't really see me using a monitor under the tank if I can Check it three my phone. So... What's the best bang
For my buck ? Thirty5 has the base setup and it's sick I was wondering if I can get all the same features with out the high price maybe by not having the display? Or by connecting it to a
Computer?? Any ideas let me
Know thanks I advance!

Damn the one link did not come through. You can add other probes but you need to add other Modules. So for example the Jr has 4 outlets and then a temp probe.

If you want PH then you need to add a PM1 module which will give you the option for another temp and also the ability to attach a Breakoutbox for floats.

If then you want salinity then you need to get a PM2.

If you think that you are def gonna want all the probes then prob better off just getting the better unit. The Apex Lite will give you PH / Temp / connection of Breakout box. You can get it without the head unit and save a few bucks.

I really like the head unit, I have it mounted on the front of my stand..

It also depends whether you want to control your lights and how many modules you want to add on. If the modules you want to add on (e.g. Dimming, Variable speed pump to control your power heads, PH probe, breakout box, etc.) and the base unit cost over $400 you might as well get the main unit for $455 and get all that already bundled in. If you're just going to keep it for a monitor then you may want to look into the new offering from Digital Aquatics.
