Flush water

Okay, so I ordered and received a new DI resin filter and the directions say I need to run 1.5 gallons of flush water. What is flush water? English is my second language, you know! :wink1:

Discard the first 1-2 gallons of water the unit produces. This "breaks in" the new filter.

I think they mean to flush it out with a minimum of 1.5 gallond of water or run atleast 1.5 gallons of water through it and discard that water.
